Activision looks set to release a videogame based on the Fast and Furious franchise this May, if a listing on EB Games is anything to go by.

Titled Fast and Furious: Showdown, the game is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.

Further evidence pointing to the game’s release comes from the Australian Classification Board, which slapped an ‘M’ rating on the title. Furthermore, the listing also outed the move-tie-in’s developer – Firebrand Games.

EB Games’ blurb describes the racer as “the definitive Fast & Furious experience of racing, heists and teamwork.”

Cooperative play seems to be the nucleus of Showdown, with all missions played either with a friend or A.I. Furthermore, the title is said to tie events from Fast Five and previous movies to the forthcoming Fast & Furious 6.

Fast & Furious 6 is in cinemas in May and stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Stay tuned for more information on Fast & Furious: Showdown as we get it.
