God of War dev 'not helping out' with The Last Guardian

The developer behind the God of War franchise has played down reports that it is helping out with long-delayed PlayStation 3-exclusive, The Last Guardian.
Last year it was reported that Sony Santa Monica Studios had been called upon to aid in production on the Team ICO behemoth, which has been lingering in development hell for some time.
However, speaking to Eurogamer, the company’s director of technology, Tim Moss, said this isn’t the case.
"I'm never really sure how that got in the press, because as far as I'm aware we're not helping out with The Last Guardian," said Moss. "The only way you can say that is the knowledge that we contribute back to the central tech groups benefits The Last Guardian. So I'm guessing someone was slightly misquoted."
Santa Monica’s Christer Ericson added that first-party developers under Sony’s umbrella frequently converse with each other and meet up to share ideas and feedback. However, this doesn’t necessarily equate to actually working on a project together.
"The different Sony first-party teams do not necessarily actively work together, but we do communicate with each other," said Ericson. "We tend to visit each other several times a year, and doing so we may exchange ideas. They've been here, and we've been there. We do ask each other how are you doing that, and just sometimes go over to provide feedback."
The Last Guardian was first announced at E3 2009 during Sony’s press conference. Since then it has popped up at numerous industry events every now and then, though we’ve seen nothing on it for almost two years now.
There has been speculation recently that the boy-meets-griffin adventure title has been moved to PlayStation 4, though nothing official has been confirmed. However, it’s still in development – creator Fumito Ueda confirmed as much last month.
Do you think The Last Guardian will be on PS4 or remain on PS3? Sound off in the comments section below.

I'm sure it's on PS3 PS4 would get a nice launch game if it were but unfortunately I dont think it will be, I'd like to be wrong just so I could be given som sense that they're moving Big titles to the PS4 so as not to alienate people who might dump their PS3 to upgrade.

Not a title to launch a new console with. I don't think the fanbase is large enough. Just take a look at sales for the previous games. Critical acclaim will not cut it nowadays or else ICO would be the greatest game ever. So hurry up and lets have a final hurrah for our old PS3's.
