Muramasa Rebirth trailer shows hacking & slashing that never looked so good

A new trailer for the the upcoming Muramasa Rebirth, an enhanced port of the original, gives gamers a taste of the intense action they'll experience on the PlayStation Vita.

The remastered graphics, featuring a hand-drawn Japanese painting art style, will pop on the PS Vita's OLED screen. Also, Muramasa Rebirth will bring improved controls and new playable characters via downloadable content players can purchase.

Muramasa is an action role-playing game developed by Vanillaware, the Japanese studio behind the cult-hit PlayStation 2 title Odin Sphere. Aksys Games is handling the game's localization. The story follows a princess possessed by an evil spirit named Momohime and Kisuke, a ninja who's lost his memory. The two will search for the 108 mysterious demon blades while battling demons through Feudal Japan.
