The Last of Us comic sells out, artbook now up for pre-order

Dark Horse Comics has announced that their prequel comic to the upcoming game The Last of Us has proved so popular that issue 1 has now sold out and is going to a second print run.

The Dark Horse site has this to say about the comic:

"The comics-exclusive prequel to the new game from Naughty Dog! Creative director Neil Druckmann teams with breakout comics star Faith Erin Hicks to present the story of thirteen-year-old Ellie’s life in a violent, postpandemic world. A newcomer at a military boarding school, Ellie is reluctant to toe the line, which earns her new enemies—and her first glimpse of the world outside."

Issues 1 is currently in comic book shops, Issue 2 is due May 29, Issue 3 hits stores on June 26, and the finale will be available July 31.

Dark Horse Comics also announced The Last of Us artbook, seen below, is now ready for pre-order.
