DUALSHOCK 4 controller shortage possible at PS4 launch

Gamestop is warning customers to expect a shortage of DUALSHOCK 4 controllers when the PlayStation 4 launches later this year.

One DUALSHOCK 4 controller comes boxed with the console at launch but if you need an additional controller it’s probably wise to pre-order one now. Speaking with PSX Extreme, a selection of Gamestop stores in the U.S. have informed them that they are already running low and expectation is likely to exceed demand.

Demand for the PS4 has sky-rocketed since it was revealed in full at E3 earlier this month. Sony’s next-gen console is due to launch before Christmas with rumours suggesting that will hit stores in November.
