A new Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag trailer has set sail today courtesy of French publisher Ubisoft.
Following on from the ‘Defy the Creed’ shenanigans earlier this week, the new trailer focuses on in-game footage, depicting Edward Kenway creeping around various locations while surreptitiously dispatching foes with a deadly arsenal of weapons.
Check it out below.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is due out on PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox 360 and Wii U in the U.S. on October 29, and in Europe on November 1. The PlayStation 4 release will hit U.S. stores alongside Sony’s next-generation console on launch day, November 15, and in Europe on November 29.
A date for the Xbox One version has yet to be announced, though it will be a launch day title too.
Black Flag takes place during the early 1700s, an era often referred to as the Golden Age of Piracy. Here, we find pirate-turned-assassin Edward Kenway – grandfather of ACIII’s Connor – plundering his way across the high seas while battling the Templar menace.
