PlayStation Vita TV will head to Asian markets outside Japan on January 16, 2014. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia so far announced Hong Kong and Singapore as two regions the mini console will launch in.

In Japan, PS Vita TV received a great response from consumers, selling out days after its launch. With a low price point and the ability to play PlayStation 1, PlayStation Portable, and PS Vita games, the console is an attractive budget option for those interested in diving into the world of PlayStation. PS Vita TV will also be capable of remote play with the PlayStation 4.

No release date or pricing is available for when PS Vita TV hits the West. Hopefully it finds continued success to warrant Sony bringing it to additional countries.

In Hong Kong, the PS Vita TV with internal storage of 1GB is priced at HK $798 ($103 USD). A value pack priced at HK $1,180 ($152 USD) will be available as well, which includes a DualShock 3 controller and 8GB Vita memory card.
