With sales of PlayStation 4 hitting record levels within 24 hours, it seems that no one is immune from wanting Sony’s fantastic next-gen console–not even the British royal family.
UK broadsheet The Telegraph has today reported that Prince William wants a PS4, after going hands-on with one while attending an event to promote careers in film, television, and gaming.
The heir to the throne commented when asked about the PS4: "It’s very addictive….I’d like to get one but I’m not sure how my wife would feel about it."
Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida tweeted a link to the story, but declined to comment on the idea that he should send a PS4 decked out in red, white, and blue to the monarchy.
