Sony today updated the PlayStation App in the U.K. to incorporate PlayStation 4 support, and can now be downloaded for iOS and Android devices.
As a result of the update, PS4 owners on launch day will now be able to keep track of their friends’ activities, compare Trophies, chat, and browse the PlayStation Store.
Finally, you can of course now use your mobile or tablet as a second screen device for your new console.
The PS App was originally pencilled in for release on November 22. You can download it now via the iOS App Store or Google Play.
PS4 launches in the U.K. and Europe this Friday.
