A new trailer of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition has surfaced today, delving into development methods Crystal Dynamics has deployed in realising a next-generation Lara Croft.

The Developer Diary (seen below) goes a great length in displaying the arduous process associated with bringing Lara up to next-generation standards, from upgrading her entire model to the dynamic effects from lighting. Executive Producer Scot Amos guides viewers through methods used during development - delving into the new graphical fidelity and models, as well as the new physics and realism at play within this well-realised, dense world.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is scheduled to hit PlayStation 4 on January 28 - stay tuned for review right around the same time.
