Arriving alongside the announcement that the PS Vita Slim will be available to buy in Europe on February 9, we have the official specs which reveal a change to the screen of the original handheld, as well as the dimensions and weight.
The dimensions of the unit have been confirmed as 183.6 x 85.1 x 15mm, which makes PS Vita Slim 20 percent thinner than the original Vita. This also means it’s much lighter too weighing in a 219g compared to 260g for the Wi-Fi enabled original.
The OLED screen from the original has also been replaced with an LCD screen, while the battery is a little bit more powerful meaning it should stay charged for longer.
The PS Vita Slim will launch in the UK on February 7 and will retail at approximately £180.
