Naughty Dog's Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley recently held an Ask Us Anything session on Reddit, teasing at the probability of a sequel for the studio's post-apocalyptic Game of the Year behemoth, The Last of Us.

In response to a long-time fan asking about its follow-up, Druckmann, the game's Creative Director, cautiously mentioned that "if you're asking about a sequel... right now I'd say it's 50/50."

Earlier this month, we reported that Naughty Dog is currently brainstorming ideas for its next big project, some of which are dancing around narrative elements for The Last of Us 2.

Surely, the world of the game must be lingering in the mind of its creators, especially with the recent release of The Last of Us: Left Behind. Give our detailed review a read to see what it brought forth for the highly successful IP.

Are you looking forward to a prospective sequel for The Last of Us? Give us a shout below.
