Rumour – New PS4 IP features ‘killer graphics’ said to be better than Ubisoft’s Snowdrop

With E3 kicking off in just over a month, rumours of soon-to-be-announced PlayStation 4 titles are gathering pace. The latest such tidbit of information, this time from alleged industry insider Ahsan Rasheed, is about a new first-party PlayStation exclusive that he says features “killer graphics” and an “eastern influence.”

Rasheed took to the Twittersphere to leak the information and says that the graphics are better than we’ve seen with Ubisoft’s Snowdrop engine, which is being used for the glorious-looking Watch Dogs and Tom Clancy’s The Division.

In February, Rasheed also said that Sony has an epic E3 2014 line-up, which includes new PS4 IPs, including a title from Guerilla Games, who made a name for itself with the PlayStation-exclusive Killzone series. He says we can also expect details on Uncharted 4, The Last Guardian and a new IP from Sony Santa Monica.

E3 2014 kicks off on June 10. PSU will be bringing you all the latest news direct from the show floor.
