E3 2014: Destiny PS4 Alpha NOW open to everyone who applied

For those of you who’ve been positively chomping at the bit to get into this weekend’s Destiny Alpha on PlayStation 4 but had to rely on the random draw taking place on Sony’s ‘Greatness Awaits’ website, have no fear – you’re guaranteed a place.

Confirmed by Bungie’s Community Manager David Dague through the ‘Guardians of Destiny’ Twitter, gamers who have entered their PlayStation Network IDs through the website will be in line to grab a code when they go live at 12:00PM PDT – no random draws, no exceptions.

The weekend of Alpha madness precedes the official Beta which begins on July 17, in anticipation for the full release (alongside a special PS4 bundle) on September 9. Bungie’s PS4 preference doesn’t end there; gamers will also get their grubby mitts on two exclusive maps, too – ‘Exodus’ and ‘Strike on Mars’.

Don’t forget to sign up for the Alpha right here.

Will you be joining the fight in Destiny later today? Don’t forget to give us your views below – you may even see us online, too. Stay tuned for more E3-related coverage all this week.
