Destiny PS4 alpha extended, Bungie warns of 'dangerous experiments'

Bungie has confirmed that it has extended the Destiny alpha for PlayStation 4.

The former Halo developer announced the news on its official Twitter, though didn’t specify just how long the alpha will remain open.

"There's a rumor that the #Destiny Alpha might be extended to allow dangerous experiments," said the company. "Play beyond the official close at your own risk!"

What exactly does the company mean by ‘dangerous experiments?’ We’re as stumped as you, but if you’re one of the lucky gamers taking part in the action, be sure to leave us a comment if you spot anything...unusual.

Destiny is scheduled for release on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC in September. Read our impressions from E3 here, and be sure to check out our E3 Multiplayer Award for the shooter while you're at it.
