PS4 PlayStation Now open beta begins July - 'Seize your moment'

The closed beta for Sony Computer Entertainment’s new game streaming service PlayStation Now is currently in full swing, but you won’t have to wait long to join the action with confirmation today that the open beta will be available on July 31, 2014.

Sony is using the tagline “Seize your moment” to encourage PS4 owners to try the beta phase, which will give gamers access to a catalogue of titles that can be rented and streamed directly to their console and other devices.

The service will open up access to a back catalogue of PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 titles at launch, with PlayStation 4 games added at a later date. Games can be streamed on a variety of devices, including PS3, PS4, PS Vita, mobile devices and BRAVIA TVs.
