Wolfenstein: The New Order developer plans sequel

Wolfenstein: The Order developer MachineGames would ‘love to do a sequel’ to its Nazi-slaying , first-person shooter.

Speaking with Giantbomb, creative director Jens Matthies talks about the positive response Wolfenstein has received from sections of the gaming community and says that he’s keen to work on a sequel.

“We would love to do a sequel”, says Matthies. “We have a very, very clear idea of what we accomplished with this game, and what we want to accomplish with a sequel.” In the developer’s way will be publisher Bethesda who will no doubt be looking closely at sales figures following its release in May."

Wolfenstein: The New Order was apparently the second biggest-selling game in the U.K. on the first week of its release and the fifth biggest-selling digital PS4 title in May. We absolutely loved the game, so we’ll certainly be hoping to see more from serial Nazi-hater, William "B.J." Blazkowicz
