Naughty Dog has confirmed that Trophies for The Last of Us: Remastered are ‘identical’ to the PlayStation 3 original, though noted save files won’t be transferable to the PlayStation 4 version of the post-apocalyptic romp.
The info comes via a lengthy preview of the title in Game Informer, which also reveals a host of other juicy tidbits on The Last of Us’ PS4 makeover.
Remastered makes use of the DualShock 4’s touchpad and speaker, with the former granting you access to Joel’s backpack, while the latter plays back audio recordings and gives off a ‘click’ when the flashlight is turned on/off.
The publication also gives mention of “instant load times” and observed a reduction in motion blur, while environments are said to look “crispier” than the PS3 version. Simply put, GI says “it looks spectacular.”
The Last of Us: Remastered is scheduled for release in the U.S. on July 29 and in Europe on August 1.
