Wait, where am I? What dark corner of the PlayStation-loving internet have I wandered into?
Hello, PSU readers. I’m Kyle Prahl, editor-in-chief around these parts, and I’ve snuck into Mike Harradence’s podcast production room to write up the summary for this week’s episode of PlayStation Unchained, the official PSU podcast.
It’s dark in here. Fitting–it was pretty dark when we recorded this week’s podcast at 11:00 pm! Well, it was, like, Noon or something for Dane Smith in Japan. But the rest of us were tired. Especially Tim Nunes, who had just collapsed after two weeks of reviewing Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. His review went live just an hour or two before we started recording, so we dive deep into his impressions of Square Enix’s second attempt and whether it can match up to the greatest MMOs of our time.
Besides lots of Final Fantasy XIV talk, we brush up on the latest news–including leaked PS4 warehouse photos, Mike’s Killzone: Mercenary review, and the rumored PS4 virtual reality headset–and fail miserably at recording (well, that falls completely on me, actually).
