Videogames can be full of frustrating, game-breaking, buggy glitches that hamper the experience, but occasionally there’s a gem amongst them that just makes you sit back, laugh and enjoy the moment of madness. Of course, it never takes the PlayStation 4 community too long to find them, upload them and embarrass those developers who simply didn’t have the time to iron them out before launch. But, games just wouldn’t be the same without them.
Without further ado, here’s five our favouite PS4 game glitches so far.
1. FIFA 14 – Goal celebration ends with broken jaw
There’s an argument here that this isn’t a glitch at all and perhaps EA included this jaw-breaking goal celebration to provide some moments of hilarity. Then again, we don’t think FIFA would condone of deliberate violence on the pitch. Either way, it’s very funny.
2. inFamous: Second Son – Dumb A.I. tripping over steps repeatedly
The huge open-world of infamous: Second Son is full of funny glitches, but this one made us giggle more than most. In the clip, you’ll see pedestrians simply going about their business and seemingly slipping over at what we can only describe as invisible ice.
3. Assassin’s Creed IV – Funny break-dancing dead solider
Games are full of hilarious death animations that go completely wrong, and this one in Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed IV is one of the best. Check out the dead soldier who is seemingly doing the ‘windmill’ at a blistering pace on the ship’s deck while others are battling to the death around him.
4. EA SPORTS UFC – Playing dead
UFC is meant to be a sport for hard-men, but this fighter obviously can’t hack the pace. He simply lies down on the ground with his feet in the air while seasoned pro Alexander Gustafsson tries to take digs at him. The video gets even funnier when Alexander also lies on the ground and starts kicking at his legs.
5. Watch Dogs – The Flying Cop
Watch Dogs is one glitchy game and we could have taken our pick from dozens of funny videos. In this clip, during what’s supposed to be a semi-serious police chase, a cop is floating in the air doing a running-man style dance.
