SouthPeak Games plans to show four titles in Liepzig for consoles and portables, three of which are for the PlaySatation brand.
The lineup features the company's first games for the PlayStation 3 and PSP.
SouthPeak announced Monday that it will show Brave, a Native American-themed action game for the PSP.
Following that, Monster Madness Ex, an enhanced version of the PC and Xbox 360 multiplayer third-person shooter "Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia" for the PS3; and Iridium Runners, a futuristic racing game for the PlayStation 2.
The playable characters in Monster Madness Ex are types of modern teenagers, ranging from a lazy surfer or skater sort-of character to a depressed goth. There are four different characters in this game, each with favorite weapons and special moves. Zack is the nerd character. His special weapons are ax-type weapons. Andy is a surfer who uses random things such as toilet plungers. Carrie is a goth girl who favors swords. Her special move allows her to dash forward, rapidly slashing things. Jennifer is a stuck up cheerleader who likes dual batons. Her special move makes her spin around causing a tornado.
Iridium is a chemical element that is a dense, very hard, brittle, silvery-white transition metal of the platinum family, and it is used in high strength alloys that can withstand high temperatures. The focus of Iridium Runners will focus heavily on harsh and gritty environments, all focused on the each car's specific build focusing on the main element--iridium.
