Modern Warfare 3 leak reveals multiplayer info before Call of Duty XP

Activision is hosting a convention in L.A. later this week named Call of Duty XP, which will be highlighting their upcoming heavy-hitting first person shooter, Modern Warfare 3.

The event is expected to reveal quite a bit about MW3, however, it seems as though some of that information may have already leaked out. A video posted to YouTube (which has been since taken down by Activision) broke news of on MW3, such as new game modes, and maps.

The maps that were leaked are Carbon, Coast, Dome, Exchange, Hardhat, Interchange, Lambeth, Meteora, Mogadishu, Paris, Plaza, Radar and Seatown. No word on whether or not this is the full list of maps that will appear in the retail version of the game.

Modern Warfare 3 also looks like it will feature 32 player multiplayer, in contrast to the 18 player limit from previous games.

The last noteworthy detail of the so-called leak is the inclusion of a new Bomb mode in multiplayer. While Team Deathmatch also makes an appearance, which is hardly a surprise, nothing else is known about the new Bomb game type.

We’ll need to wait until Call of Duty XP for more information, which PlayStation Universe will have a presence in. Stay tuned to PSU for more info later this week.
