U.K. publication PSM3 (via CVG) is rumouring that Assassin’s Creed III will be set in Egypt.
That’s going by hints dropped in the latest entry in the series, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, which wraps up the story of stoic stealth master Altair and Italian stallion Ezio Auditore.
Of course, we don’t want to spoil anything for you for those who have yet to complete Revelations, and if that’s you, then don’t read beyond this point.

In the game, Altair’s son Dermin namechecks Alexandria, the ancient capital of Egypt, mentioning he has transported various books there from the Assassin’s library.
Ubisoft confirmed last week that there will be a new Assassin’s Creed next year, though whether or not this will be another subtitled entry ala Brotherhood and Revelations or AC III remains to be seen.
