Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy will receive fresh downloadable content in the form of a song from the still unreleased Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Square has announced.
The song in question is known as Somnus, and will be joined by Final Fantasy II’s ‘Magician’s Tower,’ Final Fantasy VI’s ‘Battle,’ and Final Fantasy IX’s ‘The Darkness of Eternity.’ The DLC is due out on April 4.
Final Fantasy Versus XIII was originally announced way back in 2006 and has yet to see the light of day. The game is in development exclusively for PlayStation 3 (at least, as far as we’re aware), and takes the form of an all-new independent story focusing on mysterious hero Noctis Lucis Caelum.
Details on the game have been scarce as of late, with Square confirming the title had only entered full production in September 2011.
