Remember that PlayStation Vita v1.65 system software update? That was so yesterday. In an attempt to stay hip and cool with the new kids on the block, Sony has released a newer update that apparently fixes a small issue found within firmware 1.65.
“PS Vita system software update 1.65 has been taken down temporarily due to a technical fault. For any customers who may have already downloaded the firmware, they can continue as normal. We will notify you once the latest system software update is available to download again,” said Sony via the EU PS Blog.
So in case you’ve been experiencing any issues with yesterday’s firmware update, make sure to update whenever you can; v1.66 is so… tomorrow.
