Bethesda has released update 1.5 for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for PlayStation 3 users in North America—Europe should see the update soon. The update is also available on Xbox 360 today. This update includes general crash fixes and memory optimization, which may help some of those who had drastic issues with their PlayStation 3 copy of the game.
The Bethesda Blog has full specs for the update, but in addition to these crash fixes, players will find new cinematic kill cams for projectile weapons and spells and new kill moves and animations for melee weapons. There are a ton of bug fixes, so make sure you check them all out here.
Players spend about 85 hours in Skyrim on average, and 30 percent have played more than 100 hours of the game. Not too shabby. Expect to hear more news on the game in the coming weeks and months.
