Coming off of the great news that Sony will be bringing the Dual Shock 3 for the PlayStation 3 consoles, the company announced yesterday another Dual Shock 3-related bombshell.
Come November 11, Sony will be bringing out the DualShock 3 in Japan. The force feedback controllers will retail for 5,500 yen (USD 47) and will be available in two colours – black and ceramic white. That is correct; Sony will be releasing a white DualShock 3 controller to the Japanese public. It should also be noted that the 40GB PS3 will not come furnished with these controllers, even the newly announced ceramic white 40GB PlayStation 3.
Speaking of white PS3s, it was also revealed that on the same day, Sony will be releasing a ceramic white 40GB PlayStation 3 console that will be priced at 39,980 yen.
Any word of the ceramic white DualShock 3 controller and PS3 hitting other markets such as Europe and North America is still unknown.
