The Dark Knight writer to pen Call Of Duty Black Ops II story

Since the announcement of Call Of Duty Black Ops II we’ve been teased with titbits of information, with a few details landing about the fleshed-out zombie mode and a look at some of the game’s first screenshots, but one other piece of interesting information, picked up from Kotaku, is that the story will be penned by David Goyer, writer of The Dark Knight.

Goyer has an illustrious history as a novelist, screenwriter and film director, with some his credits including Blade, Jumper and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. He worked partly on Black Ops but wasn’t involved with the storyline from the outset. In Black Ops II, Goyer will pen the story from the ground-up and says he will attempt to create a “memorable villain.”

The first trailer for Black Ops II was revealed yesterday. Treyarch has also revealed that 300 people are working on the game, which will be released on November 13 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
