Fighting game Persona 4: Arena will be heading to European territories later this year, Zen United has confirmed.
Arena joins a long line of quirky beat-‘em-ups to receive localisation in Europe under Zen’s watch, with the publisher having previously been responsible for giving PAL gamers Blazblue and Arcana Heart.
Persona 4: Arena, as you might have guessed, is based on the critically-acclaimed JPRP series and sees characters from both Persona 3 and 4 getting into a punch-up.
The brawler is currently in development at Arc System Works for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Arena boasts a full-fledged story mode that picks up after the events of Persona 4, and offers a wealth of game modes to boot.
2012 marks a big year for the Persona franchise, with PlayStation Vita title Persona 4: Golden pencilled in for a U.S. release on October 23. No word yet on a European release, but we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop.
