Resident Evil Chronicles HD Collection dated

Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection will be shambling onto PlayStation 3 in the U.S. on June 26, 2012, Capcom has announced. It’ll arrive in Europe on June 27.

The collection offers high-definition remakes of Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, which were previously released on Wii in 2007 and 2009, respectively.

Furthermore, both games will be compatible with PlayStation Move, allowing you to fill zombies and B.O.W.s alike full of lead with unprecedented accuracy.

Each game will be made available for purchase individual starting July 17, priced at $14.99 each. As a set, the games will set you back $26.99/£21.99.

Umbrella Chronicles is a retelling of Resident Evil Zero, Resident Evil and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, where players control iconic characters such as Billy Coen, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine while battling the undead hordes.

Darkside Chronicles meanwhile offers condensed versions of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X, plus an all-new scenario set in 2002. Characters this time around include Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield and Jack Krauser.
