The latest issue of Famitsu magazine (via Siliconera) has confirmed that female spy Ada Wong will feature in her own playable Resident Evil 6 scenario.
In contrast to the other campaigns, Wong’s scenario won’t offer co-op and will be single-player only. She’ll apparently come armed with a crossbow and time bombs. To unlock this scenario however, players must first play and complete all three main campaigns.
Elsewhere, Famitsu also spilled the beans on a new multiplayer mode named Agent Hunt. Unlocked after completing the game, this mode sees one player controlling a human character while the other assumes command of a B.O.W. or J’avo.
Upon going through the game again, you’ll receive notification when another player has taken control of one of the game’s creatures. In addition to leaderboards, Agent Hunt also boasts voice chat allowing you to keep tabs on other player-controlled monsters. Those of you who don’t want other players intruding on your game however can simply turn this mode off.
Resident Evil 6 is scheduled to ship for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on October 2, 2012.
