PlayStation classic Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is to be re-released on PlayStation Network, Konami has announced.
Originally released on Sony’s grey box of tricks back in 1997, Symphony of the Night proved a critical and commercial success, and is widely regarded by fans as one of the best 2D efforts in the franchise to date.
Gamers take control of Alucard as he infiltrates a sprawling castle in an effort to hunt down Dracula. The game features an open level structure and RPG elements, with players able to use Alucard’s powers to transform into three forms to access new areas, namely a wolf, bat and mist.
Symphony of the Night will be available on PSN from October 10, priced at £10.99.
