PS All-Stars Big Daddy script penned by Ken Levine

BioShock father Ken Levine penned the script for the characters of Big Daddy and Little Sister for their appearance in upcoming Sony mascot-brawler, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

Speaking with Polygon, game director Omar Kendall revealed that developer SuperBot has worked “really closely” with Levine’s studio Irrational Games to bring the iconic behemoths into the fray.

“When it came to the script writing, Ken Levine, who is the creative director at Irrational, actually took over writing duties and wrote every line of script and dialogue for Big Daddy and Little Sister in the game," he said.

"We take this very seriously, and sometimes the IP holders know best, and obviously we want to present the characters in the best way for the developers and the fans."

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is due out on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in November 2012. The game features a host of iconic characters plucked from a variety of classic Sony franchises, such as Nathan Drake (Uncharted), Kratos (God of War), Raiden (Metal Gear Solid) and Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal).
