Jet Set Radio on PS Vita delayed

The PlayStation Vita version of Jet Set Radio has been delayed, reports VG247.

SEGA confirmed to the site that the handheld version of the celebrated graffiti-‘em-up has been pushed back “due to necessary development optimisations.”

While a release date has yet to be announced, the company added that fans should keep an eye on the publisher’s official website for more info.

Jet Set Radio was originally released on the Dreamcast back in 2000, and pioneered the use of cel-shaded visuals in videogames.

The game received a high-definition revamp for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 last month, and it’s this version that the upcoming PS Vita release is based on.
