New Grand Theft Auto V trailer will debut ‘soon’, says Rockstar

The last couple weeks have been wondrous times for fans waiting with bated breath for Grand Theft Auto V, and the going just keeps getting better. After numerous artwork leaks and a release date confirmation of Spring 2013, we’ve now received word from Rockstar Games that the game’s second official trailer is currently in the works – but, unfortunately, will be delayed.

The delay comes at the wrath of Hurricane Sandy, which is currently causing widespread blackouts as it ravages New York City and other northeastern areas of the United States. Among the institutions affected is Rockstar’s New York office, and according to the developer, the storm has brought progress on the trailer to a halt. "We are working on a second trailer," said Rockstar in a statement on its official site. ". . . unfortunately Hurricane Sandy has derailed our plans somewhat but we will have something to show soon."

No other details are given, but this announcement comes alongside photos of pre-order bonuses surfacing around the Internet. Among them are small photo viewers that reveal in-game images of Los Santos landmarks and a GameStop-exclusive double-sided poster.
