The Mass Effect Trilogy will be released on PlayStation 3 in North America on December 4 and in Europe on December 7, BioWare has announced.
Xbox 360 and PC owners get the game a month earlier, with the bundle due out in both regions next week.
For PS3 owners the Mass Effect Trilogy is quite a significant release, as it marks the first time the original entry in the epic space RPG series will be available on Sony’s flagship console. In addition, Mass Effect will also see a separate, digital release on PlayStation Network.
As well as featuring all three Mass Effect titles, the Trilogy pack will also include varying amounts of downloadable content, depending on the platform you purchase it for.
The Mass Effect Trilogy will retail for $59.99. Check out our review of Commander Shepard’s final adventure here to read our thoughts on how the trilogy wrapped (hint: rather splendid, actually).
