Resident Evil 6 to receive second update

Capcom has confirmed that the publisher plans on fine-tuning Resident Evil 6 for a second time since its release in October 2012.

The dramatic horror title was patched just one month ago, but will now receive a second title update which adds a number of new features.

Chief among the new additions include the ability to select individual levels from each chapter to replay, with Agent Hunt mode now available from the outset.

New settings will also be thrown into the mix before each session, letting gamers tweak options including Friendly Fire and Infinite Ammo. QTE Assist will be added for all difficulty levels to, and stages have been tweaked in terms of their difficulty.

Resident Evil 6 picked up a gore-soaked 8.5 from PSU.com last October.
