George Andreas, a long serving Rare executive who has been with the studio for over 16 years, has joined the ranks of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE).
Andreas joins the PlayStation console maker as creative director at the company’s London headquarters.
Speaking on his new role on LinkedIn, Andreas commented:
"My forward-thinking and unique creative vision combined with my world class user experience-focussed skills have made me a key go-to person throughout the organisation for many hardware and software initiatives.”
Rare produced some of the most critically-acclaimed titles of the past 15 years or so, including GoldenEye and Perfect Dark. Founded in 1985, the British studio partnered with Nintendo during the 1990s before being snapped up by Microsoft in 2002.
