Respawn not affected by EA layoffs

Respawn Entertainment has confirmed it has not been impacted by the recent restructuring efforts put into place by Electronic Arts.

The publishing giant revealed this week that it has had to cut a number of its workforce, with rumors abound that it also intends on ditching its EA Partners initiative.

However, Respawn fortunately hasn’t been affected by the on-going restructuring process.

Writing on Twitter in response to concern about the studio’s future, Respawn said: “we’re just fine. No need to worry about us. Always sad to hear about layoffs other places though.”

Respawn is currently developing its debut project – which may or not be called Titan – and will be in attendance at E3 this year. The studio was formed in 2010 by Jason West and Vince Zampella after the duo departed Call of Duty developer, Infinity War.
