Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will get a remastered soundtrack

The Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster was already looking well worth the money due to its incredibly remastered visuals, great gameplay, and Trophy support. However, if you weren’t sold on the game yet than the latest issue of Japanese magazine JUMP might have just revealed the added value you needed.

The near 100-song soundtrack of Final Fantasy X has had two-thirds of the score remastered. The soundtrack is composed by Masashi Hamauzu, Nobuo Uematsu, and Junya Nakano and will include live lead instruments. No word as of yet if Final Fantasy X-2 HD will also be receiving the same audio remaster as its predecessor.

No release date has been announced yet, but most are suspecting it will be revealed soon, perhaps at the Tokyo Game Show next month. Pre-orders are being accepted for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita with an exclusive art book being offered as an incentive.
