Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida has confirmed that the PlayStation Vita’s next Firmware update will introduce its own version of the PlayStation App.
Speaking to gamers on Twitter, Yoshida-san, “We’ll add ‘PS4 Link’ app to PS Vita with the next update.”
Note that the executive referred to it as the ‘PS4 Link app’ and not the PlayStation App, which indicates this is a PS Vita-specific version of the service.
For those out of the loop, the PlayStation App allows you to trigger remote downloads and contact your friends from your smartphone or tablet.
