Besides lack of YouTube sharing, support for HDMI capture devices, and Blu-ray movie playback without a patch, there are a number of confirmed PS4 features that won’t be available at launch.
You’ll still be able to do plenty with PS4 on Day One, including Remote Play to PS Vita, sharing gameplay video to Ustream, Twitch, Facebook, and Twitter, using PlayStation App, and downloading game and system patches in the background. There are just a few missing links coming later, including:
*Share button ability to assist friends’ gameplay over the internet
*Suspend/Resume mode for saving game and application progress in a low-power state
*Support for official stereo headsets, including:
Wireless Stereo Headset
Pulse Wired Stereo Headset
Pulse Wireless Stereo Headset Elite Edition
*HDMI capture device support
Are any of these features crucial to your enjoyment of PlayStation 4? Sound off in the comments below.
