PS4, Xbox One stock tracker available at NowInStock.net

Gamers can use NowInStock.net to find available PS4 consoles. This replaces the need for having multiple tabs open in browsers, ready to be refreshed at the notion of a restock.

The site is freely accessible and lists all PS4 SKUs along with their respective availability statuses across various retailers, most recent prices, and the date and time each SKU was last in stock. In addition, NowInStock.net offers free alerts by email, text, and web browser. There is a tracker for Canadian and UK customers as well, though SKU and store listings for those trackers dwindle in comparison.

At the time of writing, only two PS4 SKUs are available: a bundle from GameStop with a PS4, Killzone: Shadow Fall, NBA2K14, an extra controller, and a year of PlayStation Plus for $629.95, and “All Models” on eBay.

The PlayStation 4 is a very hot commodity right now. Even after more than 4 million sales worldwide, Sony just cannot keep units on shelves, making finding one a challenge for gamers and even offering opportunities to the competition.

There is also a stock tracker for Microsoft’s Xbox One. Just for a little perspective, all Xbox One SKUs are listed as “In Stock” with the exception of two bundles from Best Buy: one with a year of Xbox Live, the other with a copy of Forza Motorsport 5, both retailing for $539.98.

The stock tracker claims to “auto-update” every minute, with its “Recent In Stock History” updating every five minutes.
