PS4 firmware update 1.6 scheduled for Europe tomorrow

Despite rumours that the latest PlayStation 4 firmware update was to be pushed back to February 22 to coincide with the Japanese PS4 launch, English Community Manager of PlayStation Europe, Chris Owen, has confirmed via Twitter that the update is in fact due tomorrow.

The update (version 1.60) grants gamers the ability to mute the PlayStation camera as well as general stability improvements and the much-touted support for Pulse headsets.

Sony Europe’s blog has also released a more detailed explanation of what this update contains, and that can be found here.

It’s unclear whether or not the North American update’s due for release tomorrow, but we’re sure it won’t be fair behind its European counterpart.
