PS Vita is ‘struggling’ in U.K., says Amazon

Sony’s PlayStation Vita is struggling to make a dent in the U.K. games market, according to Amazon U.K.’s Keta Patel.

As reported by gaming-enthusiast, while Patel feels that the handheld’s strong relationship with PlayStation 4 will give it a boost in sales, he ultimately doesn’t feel it will meet Sony’s expectations.

This is despite the impending launch of the PS Vita Slim, which Patel notes is priced higher than the original model.

Based on the console’s performance at the retail giant, he states that Sony’s device is ‘struggling, absolutely in terms of the market segment.’

PS Vita Slim is due out this month in the U.K., priced at £180.
