Murdered: Soul Suspect PS4 runs at native 1080p

Square Enix and Airtight Games have confirmed that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of Murdered: Soul Suspect will both run at a native 1080p.

Speaking with GameSpot, Matt Brunner, Airtight’s Chief Creative Officer, said, “We’re trying to keep a consistency across all the platforms.”

Square Enix’s Naoto Sugiyama then confirmed that both PS4 and Xbox One editions of the supernatural thriller output in native 1080p.

Unfortunately, Wii U owners are being left out in the cold, with the game skipping Nintendo’s latest home console.

“In all honesty, all the Wii U games I’ve ever played, the only good ones are the ones that are made specifically for [the Wii U]. And this just doesn’t fit," explained Brunner.

Due for release in June for current and next-generation systems, Murdered: Soul Suspect sees players controlling recently-deceased cop Ronan O’ Connor, as he attempts to solve his own murder from the afterlife.
