European PlayStation Plus April line-up revealed — report

The PlayStation Plus lineup for the coming month has been revealed, by the very same source that has correctly predicted the previous two months of content.

Gamepointsnow, the website in question, now lists Tribute Games’ Mercenary Kings as the PlayStation 4 offering; the Metal Slug-esque 2D shoot ‘em up is to be released on April 1 (barring some elaborate April Fools) and seems to fit the criteria of the last few months of PS+ PS4 content, which has mostly indie titles, such as Don’t Starve and Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition.

Budding PS3 gamers, on the other hand, are listed to get their mitts on Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. Both games were released last year, and despite only lukewarm critical reception, have been received well by gamers.

Last but not least, PlayStation Vita gamers get Hotline Miami for free ahead of PlayStation 4 gamers and Moto GP 13; two games that will no doubt tide everyone over until the next month of PS+ action presents itself.

Although this is very much unconfirmed as of right now, the website’s track record points to the list hopefully being the definitive April account of PS+. Are you happy with the games in question? Sound off in the comments below.
