A professional parkour athlete has suggested that Assassin’s Creed Unity, the next chapter Ubisoft’s historical action-adventure franchise, will incorporate a horizontal wall move ability for players to utilize.
Jesse La Flair dropped this interesting tidbit during a comment on one of his YouTube videos:
“What if I told you I may or may not have worked on the NEXT AC and they may or may not have added the ability to Horizontal Wall Run in the game…” he wrote
Nothing official regarding La Flair’s involvement in a new Assassin’s Creed game has been confirmed by Ubisoft, though there’s no reason to doubt he wouldn’t be involved with a game of AC’s calibre, considering the series’ affinity for parkour-based navigation.
Also, while La Flair doesn’t mention Assassin’s Creed: Unity explicitly, it is likely his involvement pertains to this game, as it’s the only one that has been announced as of yet.
However, there also exists the possibility he’s referring to the rumored Assassin’s Creed Comet, supposedly due out later this year on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
