Rockstar Games has shed light on the visual enhancements players can expect from the upcoming PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One versions of its seminal open-world effort, Grand Theft Auto V.
Announced during Sony’s E3 press conference this week, the port will feature "increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions.” Combined, these extra features will help to "bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans.”
In addition, GTA V will include new wildlife, improved weather and damage effects, plus "across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of details.”
Meanwhile, Grand Theft Auto Online will include all updates and extra content currently available for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. It’ll also benefit from the added graphical prowess seen in the core game.
Pleasingly, those of you who already own GTA V on PS3 and have dabbled in GTA Online will be able to transfer your progress to the PS4 version of the game, or any platform of their choice for that matter.
GTA V is due out on PS4, PC, and Xbox One this fall.
