Naughty Dog’s critically-acclaimed The Last of Us has sold seven million copies worldwide since its launch in June 2013.
That’s according to a Tweet from MeriStation’s Javi Andres, who attended a recent press event for the upcoming PlayStation 4 edition of the post-apocalyptic action-adventure title.
He also revealed that the game is the fastest-selling Sony-exclusive IP in Spain, with 200,000 copies sold.
The Last of Us: Remastered is scheduled to ship in the U.S. on July 29 and in Europe on August 1. The game features enhanced 1080p visuals running at 60fps, plus all major DLC released for the game to date.
